The British School in the Netherlands (BSN) is seeking a full-time Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join the dynamic PE department at the
Leidschenveen campus in The Hague. This role spans both our Junior and Senior schools. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the school's vision and values and will play a key role in the extra-curricular
programme.
This role is a temporary maternity cover from 29 April 2025 to 17 October 2025 .

The Candidate
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and QTS (with Physical Education specialization).
- A minimum of 2 years' full-time teaching experience in the UK National Curriculum.
- The ability to create engaging and challenging lessons.
- A willingness to teach across all Key Stages and adapt teaching style and practices to meet the needs of all learners.
- A commitment to contributing to a busy extra-curricular sports programme.
- Teaching in Foundation Stage (FS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) and/or Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
- Teaching GCSE PE.
- Teaching IB Sport & Health Science.
