You are experienced in bridging diverse cultural backgrounds and you are able to use differentiation effectively in class to support a range of student abilities. The job
Every day, you will provide an inspiring teaching and learning environment where students can grow, flourish, and succeed in learning the Dutch language. As a Dutch as a foreign language teacher, you will demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of how to effectively teach Dutch to a range of classes and age groups. You will also work closely with parents and support school events.

Functie-eisen

Preferably at least two years’ experience of teaching primary aged students;
You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of Dutch culture;
You are able to work together with an established team of language teachers;
Strong knowledge and experience in diverse teaching strategies, educational methodologies, and understanding of various cultural backgrounds;
A good level of English is preferable though not essential.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

A temporary, part-time replacing appointment for the 2024-2025 school year, starting on February 13, 2025;
Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.463,- max € 5.277,-);
Excellent benefit conditions including 8.33% year-end bonus, training opportunities, ABP Pension and various voluntary participation in collective insurances;
