Elckerlyc Montessori Basisschool is samen met Elckerlyc International School gehuisvest in één pand, gelegen in de groene wijk Voorhof te Leiderdorp.
De Montessori school telt ongeveer 150 leerlingen, verdeeld over drie bouwen met ieder twee groepen. De Internationale School telt ongeveer 130 leerlingen, verdeeld over acht jaargroepen. Wij streven ernaar het beste uit elk kind naar boven te halen, waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met specifieke behoeften en mogelijkheden van elk kind, vanuit de montessori, respectivelijk IPC pedagogiek en -didaktiek, met een open blik voor nieuwe onderwijsontwikkelingen.
De leerkrachten zijn zeer betrokken en professioneel, de sfeer is saamhorig en enthousiast. Het team telt ook een intern begeleider, een onderwijsassistent, een lerarenondersteuner, vakleerkrachten gym, muziek, Engels en Nederlands, een remedial teacher, een conciërge en een administratieve kracht. Ouders zijn actief betrokken bij de school en werken enthousiast mee aan activiteiten in en rond de school.
Elckerlyc Montessori Primary School is housed together with Elckerlyc International School in one building, located in the green Voorhof district in Leiderdorp.
The Montessori school has about 150 students, divided over three "bouwen", each with two groups. The International School has approximately 130 students, divided over eight year groups. We strive to bring out the best in every child, taking into account the specific needs and possibilities of each child, from Montessori, respectively IPC pedagogy and didactics, with an open mind for new educational developments.
The teachers are very involved and professional, the atmosphere is together and enthusiastic. The team also includes an internal supervisor, a teaching assistant, a teacher assistant, gym, music, English (Montessori) and Dutch (IS) teachers, a remedial teacher, a concierge and an administrative assistant. Parents are actively involved in the school and enthusiastically participate in activities in and around the school.
